    Sharp Flat
Screen TV
Are you looking for a Sharp flat screen
TV? The Sharp brand of TVs are a highly respected
brand and they have many models of TV which are highly
regarded. If you’re looking for a Sharp product, you
can’t really go wrong.
Of course every company has TVs to suit
different budgets and the TVs on the lower end of the
spectrum are not going to be as crisp and clear and they’re
not going to be as big, but overall, you get good value when
you buy from this company.
The first Sharp flat screen TV I ever
bought was the Sharp AQUOS LC52BD80U TV. It was a
52-Inch TV with 1080p, 120Hz and a built in blu-ray
player. If you’re shopping around for a TV this is
still a great buy, I would recommend it.
Before I actually bought this TV, I had
shopped around various malls comparing and contrasting the
Sharp brand of TVs to other brands. In the beginning,
I wasn’t all too impressed with what I saw because it didn’t
have the best black level and the contrast wasn’t as good
when compared to the Sony XBR series. However after
doing some more research on the Internet, I found that this
particular TV had a lot of the same features that you could
find in Sharp’s Special Edition HDTV which was worth over
$5,000.
Seeing this I decided I might have been
too critical and frankly biased, since I’m so used to Sony,
so in the end I decided to go ahead and pick one
up.
When the Sharp flat screen TV arrived, it
came without a scratch and it was pretty easy to setup and
install. I was able to get a bunch of analog and clear
QAM channels from the cable with it. This feature was
great as it let me surf through digital and analog channels
without having to toggle between the modes, which is what
happens in a lot of other DVR machines. I was also
able to set channels to skip and program in some favorite
channels which was a nice feature.
Once the Sharp flat screen TV was
installed, I found the color to be quite vivid and
crisp. Despite what I had thought earlier, the black
on this screen was pretty deep and comparable to more
expensive Sony XBR TVs.
This TV had also come with advanced video
tuning. It allows you to change not only the contrast,
brightness and sharpness of the picture, but also the white
balance and the color channels. I only had to make a
few alterations to the brightness in order to get the TV to
display to my liking.
Anyways, overall, if you’re looking for a Sharp flat screen TV
in the $1000 range, this is one to consider. If you’re on
a much lower budget, you may want to look into the Sharp
27-F543 27” for around $200-300.
Hope this info helps in your search for a
decent Sharp flat screen TV. If you want to find good
deals for these, you might want to look around the Internet
as that’s where I picked mine up.
